PNC Bank and ChamberRVA are pleased to support C-Suite Conversations, a speaker series presented by the University of Richmond Robins School of Business. Listen as Associate Professor Dr. Richard Coughlan talks with Neil Amin, CEO of Shamin Hotels, in an unscripted, one-on-one interview about his trailblazing leadership experience.

Amin oversees 54 hotels owned and operated by Shamin Hotels under Hilton, Marriott, Intercontinental Hotels and Hyatt brands, as well as Shamin’s assisted living and dementia facilities in Virginia. Prior to this, he started his career at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he advised public and private technology companies on merger and acquisition transactions as well as capital markets activities. He was recognized as one of the fifty most influential Virginians by Virginia Business in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Amin graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania, completing both his bachelor's and MBA in finance. He is passionate about assisting the communities where the associates of Shamin Hotels live and work and currently serves as chair of the board of Richmond Region Tourism and serves on the boards of the Virginia Community Development Corporation, the Better Housing Coalition, the Virginia Council on Economic Education and the Virginia Small Business Finance Authority. He also serves on the Treasury Board of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

The spring 2019 C-Suite Conversation series features three local business leaders:

All C-Suite programs begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Robins School of Business, Queally Hall, Ukrop Auditorium, with a pre-event networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m. The business community, students, and faculty are invited to attend. Programs are free and open to public, but registration through UR is required. Please register by Monday, February 18.



Parking information

Thank you for your interest in the C-Suite Conversations, presented by the Robins School of Business, with support by PNC Bank and ChamberRVA. In order to make your visit to campus as easy as possible, visitors are required to obtain a University of Richmond parking pass. These complimentary passes can be obtained for a single event or as an annual pass. Processing time is 5-7 days, so please plan accordingly.

Please go to parking.richmond.edu/registration/visitor.html and submit a Visitor Vehicle Registration Form. Indicate in the additional information section if you are interested in an Annual Pass for Special Events, specifying 06/30/19 as the final date you will be on campus for the pass.

Please note Parking Services does require parking passes in this lot. They will patrol and ticket unregistered vehicles.
