Celebrating Richmond's Rising Stars - Young Professionals & Organizations Making an Impact

Step into a night of prestige, celebration and inspiration at the HYPE ICONS Awards 2026, honoring young professionals and businesses shaping the Richmond region. Now in its 11th year, this signature event recognizes individuals age 40 and under who are making a tangible difference in their communities, as well as companies excelling in fostering a culture that supports and elevates young talent.

Nominate a Young Professional or Organization

Help us shine a spotlight on Richmond's rising stars! Nominations are open June - August 2026 in the following categories:

Community Champion: Recognizes a young professional who has made significant contributions to the community through service and leadership.

Maverick Mentorship: Honors a young professional who has demonstrated exceptional mentorship, guiding and inspiring others in their career or personal growth.

Trailblazing Trendsetter: Celebrates a young professional who is leading innovation and setting new trends within their industry.

Young Professional of the Year: Acknowledges an outstanding young professional who has shown excellence in their field and leadership in the community.

Nonprofit of the Year: Recognizes a nonprofit organization that has made a significant impact in the community through their mission and work.

Small Business of the Year: Celebrates a small business that has demonstrated excellence, innovation, and community involvement.

Large Business of the Year: Honors a large business that has made substantial contributions to the community and shown leadership in their industry.

5:00 PM: Finalists & VIP Reception
6:00 PM: Doors Open & Registration
7:30 - 9:00 PM: Program & Awards
9:00 -10:00 PM: Mix and mingle with the region's finest.
