Non-Profit Panel Conversation - 10/26/23
This program is an offering of ChamberRVA and First Citizens Bank designed to bring representatives together for an opportunity to connect with like-minded peers.
Discussion Topic: “How Nonprofits Adapt and Thrive Amid Social and Political Change”
Please join us as we welcome the following panelists who will discuss how nonprofits respond to events and change beyond their control. We live in uncertain times, and our panelists will share their experiences and ideas for how to remain effective in addressing complex social concerns despite challenging (and volatile) external circumstances.
Panelists:
- Yasmin Gregg, MNS – Development Manager, ChildSavers; Adjunct Lecturer, Howard University
- Kelly Carter Merrill, PhD – Professional Facilitator, Consultant, and Adjunct Faculty at University of Richmond and Randolph Macon University
- Kim Dean Anderson, M.Ed. – Senior Associate Director, Community Relations, Bonner Center for Civic Engagement
Facilitated by Andrew Schoeneman, PhD, Program Chair of Nonprofit Studies at the University of Richmond’s School of Professional and Continuing Studies (SPCS).
Coffee will be provided and many thanks to Caritas for hosting this conversation.
This event is for non-profits and is by invitation only.
