Event Description:
The Greater Richmond Chamber's Richmond Business Council welcomes Mayor Jones to present an address on Community Wealth Building on March 30th. The Office of Community Wealth Building coordinates the City of Richmond's poverty reduction and wealth building initiatives, which by design span different sectors and policy areas, from education to housing to transportation to workforce and economic development.

It also requires the effective collaboration of the City of Richmond with partner agencies such as Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority, and GRTC, as well as with local nonprofit organizations, philanthropic entities, the business sector, and universities.

Thad Williamson, Director of Community Wealth Building, and T.K. Somanath, CEO of the Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority, have been invited to join the Mayor to answer any questions.

Light breakfast and coffee will be served.
