Event Description:

Internships are one of the most effective ways to build a strong future workforce. During this virtual info session, ChamberRVA and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership will share two resources designed to help employers strengthen their internship programs and connect with emerging talent.

You will learn about:
• InternshipsVA, a state initiative that provides matching funds and tools to help Virginia employers start or expand internship programs.
• YRichmond, ChamberRVA’s regional intern experience that provides professional development, networking, and community engagement opportunities for interns working across the Richmond region.

Together, these programs help employers enhance their internship programs while increasing the likelihood that interns stay and build their careers in our region.

This session is ideal for employers who currently host interns or are interested in starting an internship program.
