Event Description:
2020 is a year unlike any other, which calls for an event unlike any other. ICONS 2020 will honor and recognize the young professionals in our community that have really taken this year and made the most of it - who have been innovative and perseverant in these unprecedented times- whether in their organizations, their own small businesses, or the community as a whole.
We are thrilled to announce our keynote speaker,
the 2019 National Teacher of the Year(and Richmond Public Schools' very own)
Rodney Robinson!
The fabulous Melissa Chase and Jack Lauterback from 103.7 Play will be your hosts for the evening! While the focus is on celebrating the young professionals in the region who have made the most of 2020, we are also providing a lineup of interactive elements throughout the event - because virtual doesn't have to mean boring!
Music provided by DJ Jen Thomasson, trivia hosted by Why Richmond is Awesome, tons of giveaways from local businesses and makers, and more.
Don't worry, we know this is Richmond- and we haven't forgotten about the food and drink! Each ticket holder will receive a credit to use at Chop Chop RVA, Richmond's locally owned delivery service- where you can choose from any number of Richmond restaurants to support. Plus a cocktail from Cirrus Vodka!
