Event Description:

HYPE is partnering up with United Way and Brickwood Barbecue for a Volunteerism Happy Hour! Join us on Tuesday, December 10th from 4-7pm at Brickwood Barbecue in the Fan (2401 W Main St) to support the work of United Way, and mix and mingle while you're at it!

We will also be hosting a Winter Wear Donation Drive at the event! Please bring new and/or gently used winter wear items to the event for the donation drive. Cold weather clothing items for children and adults are welcome, including hats, scarves, gloves, warm socks, and hand warmers. These cold weather kits will go to residents at Fairfield Court, a local Richmond Redevelopment and Housing Authority (RRHA) housing development.

Don't have winter wear to spare? QR codes will be available on-site for virtual donations to support United Way’s mission. Additionally, Brickwood Barbecue has graciously offered to contribute 10% of all alcohol sales to the cause, and all attendees will receive a coupon to put toward their next visit!
