HYPE Tough Subjects Series: Equity and Being an Ally with Peter Paul Development Center
Special Thanks To Our 2019 Tough Subjects Series Sponsor:
Peter Paul Development Center is an outreach and community center serving children, families, and neighbors in Richmond’s East End. Founded by John Coleman in 1979, Peter Paul is the oldest continually operating community center in our neighborhood. Our purpose is to educate the child, engage the family, and empower the community. Peter Paul serves nearly 400 students in grades 2-12 weekdays through its flagship Youth Program, giving children a safe, consistent, structured, and loving environment in which to thrive during out-of-school time.
Programming is offered on-site at 1708 N. 22nd Street in Richmond as well as in four East End elementary schools. Education, enrichment, and supportive programs are offered year-round and are designed to bolster student, family, and community success.
Join the HYPE Tough Subjects Series on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 5:30 – 7:30 at Peter Paul (1708 N. 22nd Street). This event will tackle equity and inclusion, and how to turn intention into action while being an ally in the community you serve.
