Join us for a webinar on Cyber Security. This panel discussion will be focused on cybersecurity threats and how your business can reduce its vulnerability to them. Panelists from the Virginia Fusion Center and Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) will discuss their roles in prevention, protection, and mitigation of threats and best practices for responding to and recovering from a cyber attack.

 

Panelists:

Christopher Cruz is the Cyber Program Manager for the Virginia Fusion Center, which provides a vital conduit for intelligence collection and information exchange throughout the Commonwealth. In this role he is responsible for the development, management, and integration of cybersecurity capabilities within the fusion center. Previously, Christopher was the Cybersecurity Program Manager for the Virginia Department of Emergency Management, where he was assigned to work in the Office of the Secretary of Public Safety and Homeland Security. He also spent several years in private sector working for multiple Fortune 500 companies leading global security efforts around insider threat, data protection, and IT risk management.

 

Dave DelVecchio is Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Sourcepass. Dave is an IT professional of 30 years, having been President and co-owner of a managed services and security provider based in Easthampton, MA.  In 2022, Dave’s company integrated into Sourcepass, the industry's fastest growing IT services provider, for whom he is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. With a regional presence in Richmond, Sourcepass is a leader in outsourced IT services and cybersecurity, and takes security seriously, having secured both AICPA SOC2 Type II and ISO27001 certifications.

 

John Harrison is the Cybersecurity State Coordinator for the Commonwealth of Virginia, with the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS CISA). His responsibilities include proactively engaging with members in private and public sector to increase the nation's critical infrastructure resiliency and further protect it from cyber-attack. Following time with the State Department of Elections and several localities, he continues to serve as a leader in the information technology space for state, local, and tribal communities.
