Event Description:

The Robins School of Business invites you to the next installment of C-Suite Conversations, a signature series designed to engage and inform our campus community and the greater Richmond business community.

Please join us for an engaging and insightful discussion as Professor Richard Coughlan interviews Emma Rodriguez-Ayala, executive vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel of Ariel Investments. Working closely with Ariel's Co-CEO and President, Rodriguez-Ayala helps translate strategy into action across the firm's legal, operational, and technology functions - playing a pivotal role in how Ariel scales ideas, navigates complexity, and makes high-stakes decisions.

Among the firm's most notable recent initiatives is Project Level, a private investment platform focused on women's sports, including a lead investment in a new National Women's Soccer League expansion team set to begin play in 2026. Founded in 1983, Ariel is widely recognized for its disciplined, long-term investment approach and values-driven culture. This conversation offers a behind-the-scenes look at leadership, judgment, and innovation within a leading investment firm.

Presented by the Robins School of Business, supported by PNC and ChamberRVA
