The Robins School of Business invites you to the next installment of C-Suite Conversations, a series of engaging, educational events for our campus and the greaterRichmond business community.


Please join us in welcoming Aaron Roussell, Head Women’s Basketball Coach at the University of Richmond, to the stage with Professor Richard Coughlan for an open and unscripted conversation. At a time of rapid change in intercollegiate athletics, Coach Roussell has demonstrated consistent leadership, loyalty, and a deep commitment to excellence. Together, they’ll explore the pillars of sustained success and what it takes to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.

 

Aaron Roussell earned his second straight Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year award in 2025, following a season in which the Richmond Spiders advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament for the first time in program history. He was also named the 2025 ECAC Coach of the Year and made his USA Basketball coaching debut as a court coach for the 2025 USA Women's U19 National Team Trials.

 

Roussell’s success at Richmond, where he was hired in 2019, follows a pattern that emerged first at the University of Chicago, where over eight seasons he turned the Maroons into a Division III power, and again at Bucknell, where his teams went 102-30 in his last four years.
