Cashwell\n\nSuperintendent\, Henrico County Public Schools\n\n\n\nDr. Amy Cashwell became superintendent of Henrico County Public Schools in July 2018. As superintendent\, Cashwell oversees the Division Leadership Team which comprises the departments of Instruction\, Instructional Support\, Finance and Administration\, Operations\, Human Resources\, Communications and Public Relations\, and Equity and Diversity. A longtime educator\, Cashwell comes to Henrico with a wealth of experience and a passion for public education. Before becoming superintendent\, Cashwell was chief academic officer for Virginia Beach Schools' Department of Teaching and Learning. She oversaw a number of departments\, including those dealing with instruction\, instructional technology\, student support services\, exceptional education\, and opportunity and achievement. She joined Virginia Beach Schools in 1998 as a teacher before becoming an assistant principal and principal.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAnthony Romanello\n\nExecutive Director\, Henrico Economic Development Authority\n\n\n\nAnthony Romanello became Executive Director of the Henrico County Economic Development Authority in March 2019. He has made his career serving local governments in Virginia to ensure a positive environment for businesses and residents. He worked in town management and county administration for the City of Richmond\, West Point\, Stafford County\, and Henrico County. Anthony grew up in Henrico\, graduating from Hermitage High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and American Government with a Minor in Religious Studies from the University of Virginia and a Master of Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
