Richmond's deep history is one of our biggest draws, but whose stories have often gone untold? Tour eight of the city's less-well-known cemeteries and learn about ongoing efforts to preserve these sites, including a number of Black and Jewish burial grounds memorializing prominent Richmonders.
We will start at Triple Crossing Fulton and visit the following cemeteries in this order:
- Hebrew
- Shockoe Hill
- Holy Cross
- Barton Heights
- Oakwood
- East End
- Evergreen
- Sir Moses Montefiore
On October 29, the Richmond Cabinet is teaming up again with Capital Trees for our tour series - Take a Walk on the Low Line. Please register now for this guided walk to learn more about building public landscapes and urban greening.
