We are months into the COVID-19 pandemic, and we’ve each struggled to manage its ongoing impact both at work and on the home front. Coming on the heels of these challenges and ongoing uncertainty is the upcoming holiday season (and all its usual pressures). As we move toward closing out 2020, the skill to navigate this particularly stressful context is needed like never before.

We’ve all felt it. Our teams miss connecting with each other like they used to, and for many of us, virtual happy hours are no longer hitting the mark. Something that we can so easily and organically do in person has been a much bigger challenge in our current context, with our current isolation.
The good news is that the things that create meaningful connection don’t actually depend on physical proximity or co-location. In this session, we’ll help you rethink and redesign moments of connection with your team. You likely already have all the ingredients–it’s just a matter of finding ways to switch up the recipe.

- Highlighting the power of norms, psychological safety, and vulnerability on a team
- Using story in your communications to help your team process and stay productive
- Intentionally designing virtual moments of connection for your team, letting content/purpose dictate design and timing
