HYPE Serves: Chimborazo Playground Park Work Day
"HYPE Serves" is a series of opportunities for HYPE subscribers to actively give back to the RVA community while engaging and learning about area non-profits.

Chimborazo Playground Park is located between 29th and 31st Streets just south of Broad St. Since 2009, Families in the neighborhood lease a plot by the year to grow food and flowers.
For this work day, volunteers will be taking down compost bins, building new ones, and moving the compost itself over to the new ones. Other projects may also be available!
Volunteers are welcome to come and go as it fits with their schedule. Please come prepared in outdoor work clothes, bring gardening/work gloves, a water bottle, and sun protection.
