February 6 - Develop Your Career Pathway
March 10 - Develop Your Career Habits
March 24 - Develop Your Career Resilience (now virtual)

In the present time of constant change, developing resilience in all areas of our lives is crucial. During this session, we will focus on resilience in your career and skills that can apply in many arenas and stages.

Richard Coughlan has served for more than 20 years on the management faculty of the University of Richmond, where he teaches courses on negotiations, ethics and decision-making to audiences ranging from undergraduates to chief executives. He is also a keynote speaker, facilitator and strategic advisor for corporate and non-profit clients across the mid-Atlantic region.

Richard arrived at Richmond after completing both an MBA and a Ph.D. in judgment and decision making at the University of Arizona. Prior to graduate school, he spent nearly five years in the hotel industry, culminating with a position on the management team at The Pebble Beach Resorts in California.

Coughlan currently serves on the board of directors at Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia and is a past president of Association for Corporate Growth-Richmond. He also hosts a pair of interview series: C-Suite Conversations, featuring monthly on-stage interviews with senior executives in front of live audiences, and Dialogue on Decision Making, a weekly podcast with guests from a variety of industries.
