HYPE Professional Development Sessions:
Empathy and Connection: The Keys to Unlock Success in Teamwork

It has been said, “no one cares how much you know until they know how much you care” and in today’s workplace as we continue to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, no truer words have been spoken. Successful organizations are now placing more emphasis on the need for empathy and connection to unlock success in teamwork and leadership. Join us to hear from Juliette Davis on how caring for your most valuable resource can enhance the culture and productivity of your organization.

Passionate, relatable, creative and intentional; all words that embody Juliette Davis. She is no stranger to wearing many hats including wife, mother, prolific teacher, playwright, author and talk show host. In her own transparent and personable style, she skillfully draws upon her life experiences to engage in real talk about real issues. Her internet radio show, “The Living Room” is just one example of how she takes everyday issues and engages her guests in intimate conversations that inspire and empower.

With over 20 years of communications and public relations experience, Juliette reaches audiences of all ages. Her background in both the public and private sector has provided the professional experience and insight to help others thrive in what they were uniquely created to do. As a conference speaker, she enthusiastically addresses a variety of topics including discovering your purpose, navigating life’s challenges and servant leadership.

A native of Washington, D.C., Juliette is a long time resident of Richmond, Virginia and community volunteer. She currently serves as the Office Manager at the Virginia State University Office of Enrollment Management. An avid sports fan and foodie, Juliette has shared her life journey with her husband of 26 years and their beautiful daughter.
